Has great accuracy, and very easy to use.

Absolutely fantastic tuner but also practice tool with incredibly powerful metronome and practice options. It’s crazy how much is packed in here. I speak from vocalist, guitarist and keyboard player experience but this can be used in any of these contexts and I imagine would also be extremely useful for musicians of woodwind instruments. You can greatly customize metronome tempo, meter in a „song mode” so to speak so inserting blank measures for practicing consistency is a breeze. You can program tone generator (which also has samples of common instruments as well if you dont want to practice with a sine wave all the time) to do scale runs which is super helpful as a singing warmup but you can also combine it with metronome for use in some speed exercises for your instrument. It also lets you record yourself easily in app (with video as well) so it truly is do it all. There is some slight learning curve to its interface but really, compared to its feature set, its still incredible user experience. Everything works so smoothly and I never had the app crash. Alternative tunings for guitar, different temperaments, metronome where you can also program to have voiced count alongside metronome sounds. The only small suggestion id have is if we could have guitar view alongside the pitch wheel, pitch grid and keyboard views for the tone generator (i think it could be useful for ear training for people whose main instrument is a guitar) but lack of that view does not detract from this app and the magnitude of well organized features it offers.

This app is so absolutely advanced. It’s ridiculous in its simplicity. The one thing it is missing is the one thing I’ve been searching for, and it’s an app that pairs with my Apple Watch and allows for a vibrating metronome. It would be nice to have that on my fretting wrist while I played guitar, or even on my wrist while playing the piano. I don’t always want to hear the click. The vibration would do just fine. Add that to this app and I promise you will own the market if you don’t already.

This app is amazing, really good tuning tools and awesome metronome that is really customizable.

For the price, this is possibly the best practice tool you can buy. It has a huge range of functions for all kinds of musicians. But my experience lately has been extremely buggy, which hampers my ability to use it. Here are some of the most common bugs: 1) crashing 2) sustained sound just randomly stops. Sometimes it will stop because I switch between function tabs (like going from “Sound” to “Metro.” Sometimes it will stop when I have Slide Over view on my iPad and I slide it over to see my music. Sometimes it will stop on its own with no discernible cause. 3) Tuner just stops giving feedback. I have to force close the app to get it to start again.

Perfect for all your instrument needs

I'm trying to make a preset on the metronome, but it keeps crashing and deleting all of my progress regardless of how many times I save. I made it to measure 149 of the score the first time, but now it won’t let me make it past measure 30 before crashing. I checked, and my app is up to date. I’ve never had any issues with TE before, not sure why this is different.

This app works seamlessly on all of my devices, from my oldest device (iPad 2) to my newest device (iPhone 11). It is very easy to use and has lots of useful features. I definitely would recommend it to any musician.

This is my favorite metronome app, but the sound stops working every few weeks. It’s annoying to have to delete the app and re-install it, but that’s the only solution I’ve found that works

Helps with band

Never had a problem before - but now metronome will not play and stays in microphone mode.

My band teacher wants people to get this app but no one wants to, so he’s not happy about that. I download it and he thinks I’m cool now because I did that BE COOL AND TUNE YOURSELF!

This app would definitely be a 5star as it has been helping me with practicing as I am a beginner and am learning so much from it would definitely recommend

Been using this app for several years and only use a tiny portion of it for voice pitch and instrumental pitch. It has helped me in my singing. Been thinking of using the didactic tools. However sometimes it is a bit over my head. I highly recommend if you are musician, don’t waste time with other piano apps. This will suit every need!

I hate it

This app has it all – from drones and tuning to a sound analysis system! It's hands down the best tuner and metronome app I've ever used!

The Tunner and metronome are awesome every time I practice I have it on the best tunner Ive had ever since I got it it was awesome defiantly worth the $5.99.

This app is great as a tuner and metronome. Best out there for the most part. The metronome allows for a ton of customization, long beat forms, saved presets, customizable count in. The only downside is that the polyrhythmic component does not work. It really just plays subdivisions- and while the interface seems perfectly set up for different polyrhythms , these options don’t exist or don’t work. Would love to see this added to the app

Its great. A lot of basic tuners/metronomes are really just that - basic. This has everything into one app. I just want an analogue version of this when I want to get away from screens as I tend to keep my practice space analogue to help stay focused on the music. First time writing an app review

Good app five dollars a little much I want to pay for a app but really good

I’ve been using it as a tuner, but it’s very inaccurate.

I sing Barbershop Harmony & was introduced to the tuner at a regional workshop about a year ago. It is a great tool to check pitch accuracy as I rehearse music at home.

It works well but has too many features for me. I sometimes have trouble just selecting a time signature or other simple tasks because I am lost in a sea of options.

My “goto” app for every aspect of practicing. Need to make time to truly master the depth and breadth of app’s powers!

I occasionally open the app and it just freezes up and stops working, I can’t tune, use the metronome, anything.

Thanks to this tool I can do on the spot recordings and check pitch intonation. Please provide more tutorials on retrieving history of practice and replay of recording. I use this program on a regular basis and find it useful in tone production on various instruments as well as voice. Please provide more tutorial, videos on use of compound duple meters.

This app has been more than amazing helping me hear and create the write notes consistently. I always use it when practicing.

Everything you need in a tuner/metronome, and little to nothing to get in the way. The gamification of practice time is weird, but oddly encouraging, so it’s fine. The fact that TE just *sells us a tool* and doesn’t try to keep milking us for more and more money pushes this to FIVE STARS! Well done TE, and thank you! 😊

WOW!!!!!!! worth the six dollars. i can’t believe i went so long without this app. has everything i need and everything i didn’t know i need. especially useful as a multi-instrumentalist who needs a hyper fine tuner for violin, polyrhythm metronome for marimba, and a faster damper speed for flute. a MUST HAVE for all musicians.

I’m like a metronome nerd. As a drum instructor I search year after year for metronomes and my search is finally over. I had no idea inside of a “tuner” app that I would find the perfect metronome! It’s not producing any sounds or tones for the metronome or tuner. There’s no app support in the app and the app support on this page doesn’t take me anywhere for help. How do I get a refund if the app isn’t going to function the way it’s supposed to?

I’ve been using this tuner for a while now, and I absolutely love it. The tuner is very accurate and gives you feedback if it’s too low or high. And u can also record with it. There’s also a metronome option. All in all great app. Recommend

I’m only using the metronome features as a beginning music student. But this is as important as my right hand or left hand. Since I use a keyboard with headphones for much of my practice, I love how I can put this on my phone & an earbud and then layer my larger headphones on top. Definitely my most powerful practice tool. Thanks!
